Think Positive

Attitude is Everything

"Once you see and accept the transience of all things and the inevitability of change, you can enjoy the pleasures of the world while they last without fear of loss or anxiety about the future. When you are detached, you gain a higher vantage point from which to view the events in your life instead of being trapped inside them".

from Eckhart Tolle in "Peace in the Present Moment".

Psychotherapy Services

Cognitive Behavior therapy

Therapy that focuses on maladaptive patterns of thinking, emotional response and behavior.  Implement new tools to rethink negative automatic thoughts.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocess

"During trauma our brain processes and stores memories incorrectly. This incorrect storage can lead to past memories feeling very present. Related or unrelated stimuli in the present can lead to clients reacting as they did at the time of trauma. The brain feels if the past disturbing event is happening currently.

EMDR therapy corrects this mis-storage so that the painful memories associated with the trauma lose their charge. The client can react to stimuli in the present without the past interfering. "

Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT is known for tapping and the focus is on a body/mind self-help method. It combines a gentle touch with mindful and vocal attention to thoughts and feelings. EFT

involves tapping with your fingertips on

acupressure points on the hands, face and body

while focusing (temporarily) upon an issue we

wish to resolve.

Mindfulness

Being aware of the present self and mind, while using meditations and breathing techniques.
